Introduction:

In the pursuit of providing a meaningful and immersive experience for students, the Department of Education’s Work Immersion Program presented an exceptional opportunity for nine senior high school students from Inanta National High School (INHSH) and Binulasan Integrated School (BIS). Led by our esteemed Cooperson, Fr. Francis B. Lucas and HR & Admin Manager, Ms. May Kristine N. Conde, an orientation was conducted to warmly welcome and familiarize the students with the Inner workings of Infanta National High School HiGh School and Binulasan Integrated School, and the significant role they will play during their immersion.

Unveiling the Essence of ICDeC:

During the orientation, the students were introduced to the world of Infanta Credit and Development Cooperative (ICDeC). They were given a comprehensive perspective on what ICDeC represents as an organization and the invaluable principles and guidelines that define its operations. This immersive experience sought to enlighten the students about the cooperative’s core values, objectives, and its commitment to community development.

Embracing the Cooperative Principles:

In order to fully grasp the essence of their forthcoming immersion, the students were enlightened about the principles and guidelines that govern ICDeC’s functioning. They were familiarized with the cooperative’s commitment to mutual cooperation, democratic decision-making, equitable distribution of benefits, and continuous education and training. These principles not only serve as the foundation of ICDeC but also provide a roadmap for sustainable growth and development.

The Significance of Immersion:

As part of the Work Immersion Program, the students will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the daily operations and activities of ICDeC. This experience will not only broaden their understanding of cooperative principles but also provide them with practical skills and knowledge related to finance, administration, and community engagement. Through their immersion, they will witness firsthand how ICDeC positively impacts the lives of its members and the community as a whole.

Conclusion:

The orientation session served as an important stepping stone for the students from INHSH and BIS as they prepare for their cooperative immersion with ICDeC. By providing them with a holistic understanding of ICDeC’s core values, principles, and objectives, they are equipped to embark on a transformative journey that will enhance their knowledge, skills, and personal growth.

ICDeC extends its warmest welcome to the students and expresses its commitment to supporting their educational and professional development during their immersion. Together, let us embrace the cooperative spirit and work towards a brighter future for our community.
