Feed the Future Project

Feed the Future Project is one of the flagship programs under the cooperative’s social development plan that aims ultimately to alleviate children malnutrition in the municipalities under the coop’s area of operation. For sixty (60) consecutive days, children of the beneficiary-barangay will be fed a once a day full meal to be prepared by their parent/ guardian, including provision of milk and vitamins. This project is aimed to ensure collaborative participation of the Community Development Committee of ICDeC, parents/ guardians, LGU, barangay officials, Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) and other stakeholders, in order to attain the desired goal.

Plant for the Planet: The 2,500T Tree Campaign

Plant for the Planet: The 2,500 Tree Campaign is a program of the Infanta Credit and Development Cooperative (ICDeC) in partnership with the Department of Agriculture and LGU Infanta. This is one of ICDeC’s flagship programs for the year 2023 that aims to benefit not only the members but also the community. The project aims to start a backyard tree planting activity to be participated by selected members. The selected members will plant fruit-bearing trees. Ultimately, the aim of the program is focused on environment conservation and food sustainability and in furtherance thereto shall aim:

  1. To plant 5,000 trees for the next 5 years;
  2. To enhance involvement of ICDeC members in the community projects of the cooperative; and
  3. To encourage efficient and cost-effective management of idle backyard lot and became a possible food and additional income source of the member.
