“Babae ka, hindi Babae lang!”
ICDeC proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Women’s Month 2026, honoring the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of every woman who continues to shape society with courage and purpose.

Led by the Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, this year carries a powerful and deeply rooted theme “Lead Like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”, a rallying call that draws inspiration from the ancient Filipina leaders who once held great power, wisdom, and influence in their communities. It is a reminder that the spirit of leadership has always lived in every Filipina.

This year’s celebration serves as a bold declaration that gender equality is not merely an advocacy, it is an imperative that must be upheld in every aspect of life. From the workplace to the home, in every decision and every opportunity, ICDeC stands firm in its belief that every woman is entitled to be heard, respected, and given equal footing to thrive.

To every Filipina – your strength moves mountains, your courage lights the way, and your story matters. This month and every month, ICDeC celebrates you.
